The man was taken into custody after a raid on his residence, which took place on Friday. During the operation, law enforcement seized a range of dangerous items, including a pistol and seven full cartridges. Authorities also uncovered improvised explosive devices, a quantity of gunpowder, and various drugs.
Drugs explosives: Seizure of Illegal Substances
Among the drugs found were approximately 210 grams of cannabis plant material, around 70 grams of cocaine, and 5 grams of cannabis resin. Additionally, two packages of cannabidiol were discovered, alongside precision scales and a substantial amount of cash, totalling €40,000.
Police Operation Details
The successful operation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in collaboration with the drug squad Ykan. They executed searches not only at the man’s home but also in several business premises and vehicles associated with him, highlighting the extensive nature of their investigation.
