Born in Nicosia on September 20, 1978, Christofidou brings over 20 years of legal experience in Cyprus and the United Kingdom. A graduate of the University of Sheffield, she holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in European law from the University of Leicester.

Currently, she serves as the managing director of M. Christofides & Co. LLP, a law firm with a notable 50-year history. Under her leadership, the firm has handled a diverse range of civil, commercial, and public law cases.

Christofidou is an active member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Nicosia Bar Association, contributing to various committees including the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Committee for the Modernisation of Public Sector Service Procedures. She also plays a significant role in advocating for women’s rights, coordinating efforts within the National Mechanism for Women’s Rights.

Her involvement extends to the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) and the G100 wing of political leadership, where she presides over the Cyprus chapter. Additionally, she previously served on the board of directors for the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation for five years.
