In August 2025, he allegedly trained alongside a 37-year-old man who was arrested in Crete last Saturday. This individual confessed to being at the camp with the 38-year-old, where they were trained in explosives manufacturing. Reports suggest that the 38-year-old supplied funding for operations.
Detection of a Wider Network
Authorities in Cyprus and Greece are investigating further connections to a broader network of Hamas operatives in Europe. They are aware of at least one additional figure linked to both the Larnaca case and the arrest in Crete, believed to play a significant role in coordinated terrorist activities across the continent.

Officials have indicated that all evidence suggests potential terrorist attacks on Cypriot soil were successfully intercepted.
