With preparations in full swing, the 4th Limassol International Book Fair will take place at the Carob Mills from November 21 to 23. This year’s event promises a rich programme, including talks and discussions featuring publishers, authors, and various book industry professionals.
Conference Kicking Off the Fair
The fair will commence with a full-day Limassol International Book Fair Conference, where book professionals from Cyprus, Greece, Europe, and the Arab world will gather to address local, regional, and international challenges and opportunities in the literary field.

This year’s fair will feature a total of 36 speakers hailing from various countries, including Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, and the United Kingdom. The library sessions will include notable figures such as:

In the publishing and bookselling sessions, the focus will be on capacity building within the Cypriot book sector and fostering international networking. Special events will centre around children’s publishing in international markets, particularly in France, Greece, and Cyprus.
Additionally, a seminar will delve into the responsible and productive use of artificial intelligence in book publishing, featuring Sara Lloyd as the keynote speaker. This seminar will include discussions on translation, cultural exchange, publishing strategies, rights trading, and AI’s impact on the industry.
General Public Engagement
The fair also presents a fantastic opportunity for the general public to engage with the literary world. On November 22 and 23, attendees can browse hundreds of book titles and meet authors during the General Exhibition.
