Five cars were engulfed in flames overnight in Limassol, with incidents reported in two separate locations. The first fire occurred on Wednesday night in Mouttayiaka, where four vehicles parked in a private carpark were reported ablaze.

Emergency services received the call at 11.46pm, leading to a swift response from the police and fire crews. The vehicles involved include two belonging to a 40-year-old individual, and one each owned by a 38-year-old and a 21-year-old.

As firefighters worked to control the flames, the situation escalated early Thursday morning when a 20-year-old reported that his car had also caught fire while parked in an open space elsewhere in Limassol. This incident occurred at 3.25am, and it was noted that the fire caused minor damage to a second vehicle parked nearby.

Authorities are investigating both incidents, although the cause of the fires remains unclear at this time. Residents in the area are understandably concerned, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
