European University Cyprus is offering 10 scholarships for English language postgraduate programmes set to begin in autumn 2026. Among these, five will cover full costs while the other five will provide partial financial support.
CIM Cyprus Business School has announced seven scholarships, which include one fully funded master’s position and six that offer partial funding. This collaborative effort has increased the total number of scholarships from the initial 93 announced by President Nikos Christodoulides on May 9, Europe Day.
Several universities have contributed to this initiative. Neapolis University Pafos has pledged the largest share of 40 partial scholarships, while Frederick University has committed to 20 partial scholarships. The University of Limassol is providing 12 scholarships, including two fully funded places. Additionally, the University of Nicosia is offering 10 partial scholarships, the University of Cyprus has six (with two fully funded), and UCLan Cyprus is contributing five partial scholarships.
These scholarships are available to both Cypriot and European citizens, with each institution setting its own eligibility criteria. The initiative underscores Cyprus’ priorities during its EU presidency, particularly the focus on youth, education access, and skills development.
Officials involved aim to provide meaningful opportunities for students while bolstering Cyprus’ standing as a regional higher education centre. By easing the financial burden on students pursuing postgraduate qualifications, the scholarship scheme encourages greater participation in higher education across Cyprus and Europe.
