The alarm was raised shortly after 1am when officers were alerted to an injured person in the parking area of an apartment block. Emergency services arrived promptly, and the man was transported to Limassol general hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

Authorities have confirmed that the victim was a foreign national, working in Cyprus. Initial investigations indicate that he attempted to jump from one balcony to another in the apartment he shared with fellow countrymen.

At the time of the fall, the man’s partner, who is also from his home country, was inside their flat. Police are currently gathering statements to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.

This tragic event has led to an investigation into what is being treated as an unnatural death. Efforts are underway to notify the man’s family abroad, while acquaintances in Cyprus have already been informed of the incident.
