A 19-year-old tourist remains in critical condition on a ventilator following a serious road collision involving an ATV in Ayia Napa. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening around 7:20pm on Nissi Avenue.

The police reported that the quad bike, carrying two tourists, collided with a vehicle before striking an oncoming bus. The 20-year-old driver was behind the wheel, with his 19-year-old compatriot as a passenger. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation.
Both riders were swiftly transported by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. The driver sustained leg fractures, while the passenger suffered severe injuries to his leg and face. Due to the critical nature of his condition, the 19-year-old was later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is currently on a ventilator.
