Roadworks: Limassol-Nicosia Motorway Works
Starting on November 25, roadworks will commence on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway, continuing until December 4. The works will take place from Monday to Thursday, between 8pm and 5.30am the following day. During this period, one lane heading towards Nicosia will be closed.
Hard Shoulder Restoration in Larnaca
On November 27 and 28, restoration works for the hard shoulder will be conducted on the Kofinou-Larnaca motorway. These operations will occur from 8.30am until 2.30pm, necessitating the closure of the left lane.
Resurfacing Near Kotsiatis and Dhali
From November 26 to 27, road resurfacing will take place on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway, specifically near the Kotsiatis and Dhali industrial area exits. This will require a complete closure of all three lanes heading towards Nicosia for approximately 3km, with traffic being diverted to the opposite side of the motorway. Additionally, the exit to Kotsiatis will also be closed during this period.
Maintenance on Parekklisia-Eptagonia Road
Earlier, on November 23, from 7am to 4pm, road maintenance work will be conducted on the Parekklisia-Eptagonia road in Limassol. Traffic will be alternated using temporary traffic lights to manage flow safely.
Cleaning Works on the Larnaca Airport-Ayia Napa Motorway
From November 24 to December 19, excluding Sundays, cleaning and pruning works will be carried out along the Larnaca airport-Ayia Napa motorway. These works will take place daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm, resulting in the closure of the hard shoulder during these hours.
Further Cleaning on the Larnaca-Nicosia Motorway
Between November 25 and 28, further cleaning efforts will be undertaken on the Larnaca-Nicosia motorway, specifically from Rizoelia to Athienou. These works will occur from 7.30am to 3pm daily, with portions of the hard shoulder closed.
Reflector Installation on Nicosia-Larnaca Motorway
On the weekend of November 29 and 30, from 6.30am until 1.30pm, installation or replacement of reflectors will be conducted on the central island of the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway, as well as on the central lane of the Nicosia-Akaki road.
Resurfacing on Limassol Avenue
Additionally, Limassol Avenue in Nicosia will be closed for resurfacing works on November 24, from 8pm until 6am the following day, affecting traffic in both directions from the junction with Aglandjia Avenue to the junction with Armenias Avenue. If the work is not completed on the 24th, it will continue into November 25, necessitating a closure in the direction of the city centre.
