During the raids, officers confiscated a diverse array of wildlife, including three dead hares, seven dead partridges, and five dead francolins. The seizure of 1,008 wild birds highlights the ongoing issue of illegal hunting in the region.

In addition to the birds, law enforcement also recovered four hunting weapons, one of which was modified, and 47 steel traps designed for catching wild birds. The operation further uncovered two live hares, three live wild birds, and a net intended for trapping birds.

Authorities also found a quantity of prohibited ammunition and three devices that emit calls of wild birds, which are often used to lure them for hunting. These seizures reflect the commitment of the Game and Fauna Service to combat wildlife crime and protect biodiversity in Cyprus.
