Pasta flavours: A Culinary Journey with Homemade Pasta
On July 31, visitors can immerse themselves in the art of traditional pasta-making. Known locally as ‘sklinitzia’, this unique style will be demonstrated in engaging workshops designed for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from local artisans, gaining insight into the techniques and nuances that define Cypriot pasta.
Flavours of Cyprus on Offer
The event promises to tantalise taste buds with a variety of pasta dishes. Guests can sample ‘xontrofide’ pasta, served with a rich tomato sauce, alongside the creamy delights of ‘tri’ pasta made with milk. These tastings, coupled with the vibrant atmosphere, will provide a true flavour of the island.
Local Vendors and Traditional Products
As part of the festivities, local vendors will set up stalls to sell traditional products, offering complimentary tastings to enhance the experience. From artisanal cheeses to homemade jams, there will be an abundance of local flavours to explore. Additionally, food and drink stalls will serve up popular Cypriot dishes including souvlaki and an assortment of local beers.
