The driver sustained minor injuries during the accident and was kept in the hospital as a precaution but was released later that day. Alongside him were his two children; a 13-year-old boy in the front passenger seat who also suffered minor injuries, and his younger sister in the back seat.
The seven-year-old girl was taken to the hospital where doctors discovered she had a fractured left wrist and a ruptured mesentery, leading to internal bleeding. Following this diagnosis, she was transferred to Makarios Hospital for intensive care treatment.
Current reports indicate that her condition is stable, and medical professionals have reassured her family that she is now out of danger. Limassol Traffic Police are actively investigating the crash, focusing on whether the children were wearing seatbelts and if a proper child seat was used.
