Director Spike Lee, who attended the show, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to honour Armani’s legacy. He remarked, “I’m… humbled that we were invited to come back to Milano to celebrate his excellency.” Cate Blanchett echoed this sentiment, highlighting Armani’s dual role as a remarkable designer and a committed humanitarian.
