food delivery — A 23-year-old food delivery rider was brutally beaten and robbed in Limassol on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 9.50pm in the Kato Polemidia area, where the victim was riding his motorcycle when he was approached by three assailants.
The attackers struck the rider with sticks, inflicting injuries that required medical attention. In a swift and violent act, they stole his motorcycle, €100 in cash, and two cell phones before fleeing the scene.
Following the assault, the victim sought treatment at the Limassol general hospital, where he was treated for bruises on his abdomen and right arm. Fortunately, he was discharged after receiving the necessary care.
The police have since launched an investigation into the incident. They were able to locate the stolen motorcycle, which was abandoned in an open lot in Limassol. However, the search for the perpetrators continues as law enforcement works to bring them to justice.
