digital banking — Alpha Bank Cyprus is advancing its digital banking strategy by successfully implementing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), a significant step towards enhancing its customer service capabilities. The bank announced on Wednesday that the new customer relationship management (CRM) platform has been operational since April 30, 2026, and is part of a broader initiative to modernise its operations.

This strategic investment aims to accelerate Alpha Bank Cyprus’s digital transformation while fostering a customer-focused operating model. With the Salesforce FSC in place, the bank is set to improve how it serves and communicates with its customers, ensuring timely responses to their needs.

Alpha Bank Cyprus emphasises that the implementation of Salesforce FSC, which is recognised as one of the leading CRM platforms globally, will provide access to advanced technology and digital tools crucial for thriving in a competitive banking landscape. The new system is designed to enhance the bank’s capabilities in personalising services and ensuring a consistent customer experience.

The adoption of this advanced infrastructure aligns with Alpha Bank Cyprus’s long-term goal of becoming a more customer-centric institution. The bank intends to deliver personalised services more swiftly and efficiently, effectively responding to customer requests across various channels.

According to the bank, the Salesforce FSC platform enables employees to have a comprehensive view of customer interactions, facilitating data-driven service. With the integration of advanced analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence, staff can provide quicker service, reducing procedural delays and enhancing direct communication.

During the initial rollout phase, the Salesforce FSC platform will be accessible through the bank’s branch network and call centre, allowing front-line employees to handle customer inquiries with greater accuracy and speed. This represents a significant transformation in Alpha Bank Cyprus’s operational model, moving beyond simply adopting new software to fostering a more integrated approach to customer service.

The bank anticipates that improved information sharing and collaboration among teams, alongside minimised manual processes, will enhance overall efficiency. This shift will enable staff to concentrate more on delivering exceptional customer service.

Miltos Michaelas, CEO of Alpha Bank Cyprus, stated, “Strengthening our customer-centric operations remains a consistent strategic priority for Alpha Bank Cyprus. This new strategic investment significantly enhances our ability to operate with greater speed and a more targeted response to our customers’ needs.”

Popi Hadjioannou Demetriou, Chief Retail Banking Officer, highlighted the significance of technology in transforming customer service. “For us, technology has value when it translates into a better customer experience and more meaningful support for our teams,” she mentioned. “Through Salesforce FSC, we are enhancing our ability to offer our customers more consistent, immediate, and personalised service.”

The partnership with Salesforce has been welcomed by Kateryna Skrypchenko, Regional Vice President for the Mediterranean, Adriatics and Central Asia at Salesforce. She expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “Alpha Bank Cyprus is not just addressing the demands of today’s competitive landscape, but is establishing a powerful, data-driven and AI-ready foundation that ensures its customer-centric vision remains robust.”

With the implementation of Salesforce FSC, Alpha Bank Cyprus is not only fortifying its customer relationships but is also laying the groundwork for its next phase of growth, demonstrating a commitment to leveraging digital capabilities for enhanced customer engagement.
