Deloitte Cyprus has appointed Vaios Makrygiannis as its new Partner and Transfer Pricing Leader, effective December 1, 2025. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing the firm’s capabilities in the intricate field of transfer pricing.

Makrygiannis joins Deloitte Cyprus from Deloitte Greece, where he has built a substantial career over the past 18 years, specialising in tax across Greece and the United Kingdom. His extensive experience covers a range of critical areas, particularly intra-group loans and financial transactions, along with a robust portfolio of Transfer Pricing projects that include documentation, due diligence, planning, and negotiations with tax authorities.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking Administration from the University of Piraeus and an MBA from the University of Stuttgart, which complements his practical knowledge with solid academic foundations.

Antonis Taliotis, the Tax and Legal Leader at Deloitte Cyprus, expressed strong confidence in Makrygiannis’s ability to bolster the firm’s Transfer Pricing services. “We’re confident that Makrygiannis’ addition to our Direct Tax partners’ team will significantly enhance our Transfer Pricing offering,” Taliotis stated. He emphasised that Makrygiannis’s unparalleled expertise positions him well to navigate the rapidly evolving market landscape and address the intricate challenges faced by clients.
