The incident occurred around 10.45pm on Saturday night, when the victim was called to deliver a food order. After completing the delivery, he was making his way back to his base when he was confronted by a group of individuals.
Describing the assailants, the rider said that they had their faces covered and were wielding sticks. One of the attackers was also reportedly armed with a knife. The situation escalated quickly when one of the men pushed the rider off his motorcycle.
