More than 20,000 individuals enlisted in the Cyprus regiment, and numerous Cypriots lost their lives fighting for freedom and dignity. Their sacrifices are commemorated in military cemeteries across 17 countries, serving as a testament to their commitment.

Kollias assured that Greece continues to collaborate with the Republic of Cyprus towards the goal of reunification.
