Reports indicate that the victim was attacked by a group who initially used electrical discharge devices before one member of the group stabbed him in the left shoulder blade. Medical staff at a private hospital in Limassol confirmed that the victim was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he remains in critical condition.

Chase on the Water

British Bases authorities spotted the brothers during a routine maritime patrol as they attempted to flee the island. Upon noticing the police, the brothers accelerated their boat in an effort to evade capture, prompting a chase that involved Larnaca Port Police.

Coordinated Arrest

After a coordinated effort between British Bases police and Larnaca Port authorities, officers successfully immobilised the boat and arrested both brothers. They are now in custody and are expected to face interrogation before being presented to Limassol District Court on Wednesday, where prosecutors will seek their remand.

Search for Additional Suspects

Authorities are also searching for the father of one of the brothers, who is believed to have assisted them following the attack. Law enforcement is keen to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and any potential accomplices.
