Turkish Cypriot journalist Bilbay Eminoglu has died at the age of 49, leaving behind a legacy in the field of journalism that will be remembered by many. He passed away on Tuesday after spending nearly a week in intensive care due to cardiac and respiratory failure, having been admitted to the hospital on Wednesday of the previous week.

Following his passing, the Cyprus Turkish journalists’ association expressed deep sorrow and recognised Eminoglu’s contributions to journalism.
