The summit is set to occur on Monday in Portoroz, bringing together leaders from Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain. An extraordinary guest, King Abdullah II of Jordan, is also expected to join discussions.

Meeting with King Abdullah II
During his visit, President Christodoulides is scheduled to meet with King Abdullah II to address the ongoing situation in the Middle East. He will present Cyprus’ six-point initiative, aimed at promoting stability and cooperation in the region.
Bilateral Talks with Slovenia
President Christodoulides will also engage in discussions with Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob. Their talks will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and outlining the priorities for Cyprus’ upcoming EU Presidency, set to begin shortly.

Following the summit, President Christodoulides will travel to Zagreb, Croatia, for a working visit. After these meetings, he will then head to Brussels for the European Council summit on Wednesday.
