Traffic Violations and Enforcement Actions
The traffic checks yielded 252 reports for various offences. This included 105 related to speeding and 25 involving driving under the influence of alcohol. Five cases of suspected drug-driving were also recorded after preliminary drug tests.
In total, police conducted 420 breathalyser tests and seven drug tests on drivers. Seventeen vehicles were impounded during the operations, highlighting the focus on road safety and compliance with traffic laws.
