Motorists reported long queues extending over a kilometre, as the police have implemented restrictions to manage the expected influx of attendees for the summit. According to reports from Phileleftheros, these measures were announced yesterday.

The traffic restrictions are effective from 7am to 9am, impacting both the Nicosia–Limassol motorway and the bypass road leading to Limassol New Port. Additional restrictions are set to apply later in the day, specifically between 3pm and 5pm, during which time further delays are anticipated.

Authorities have urged drivers to remain patient and exercise extra caution. Police officers are stationed at various points along the route to provide guidance and ensure the smooth flow of traffic amidst the disruptions.

With the summit expected to draw significant attention, both local and visiting motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as the traffic conditions may affect travel times considerably.
