Cyprus-based mobile game developer Top App Games is celebrating a significant milestone as its flagship title LUDUS has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide. This achievement underscores not only the company’s success but also the burgeoning gaming sector on the island.
Operating under the umbrella of Utmost Games, Top App Games has crafted a unique gaming experience that has resonated with players globally. The recent surge in downloads comes as LUDUS recorded a remarkable 74.6 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue, highlighting the game’s growing popularity.
LUDUS has expanded its reach into new markets, notably recently launching in Vietnam, which reflects the company’s strategy to tap into the vibrant Southeast Asian gaming community. The game, which blends elements of merge mechanics, auto-chess tactics, and RPG progression, aims to engage a diverse audience.

In conjunction with the download milestone, Top App Games has unveiled a major new feature called Divisions, designed to enhance competitive play. Launched in March, Divisions replaces the previous Leagues system, introducing a seasonal format that encourages players to compete in clusters of over 20. The competitive framework introduces fresh strategic gameplay mechanics, including Attack Coupons for rival challenges and a system to raid statues for rating points. Since its launch in December 2023, LUDUS has shown impressive growth, generating approximately $3 million in monthly revenue by March 2025. By December 2025, the game had surpassed 8 million installs globally, culminating in the recent achievement of 10 million downloads.
The game’s primary audience consists mainly of men aged between 25 and 50, illustrating its appeal in the mobile gaming market. LUDUS has gained traction in key international markets, including the United States, South Korea, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom, contributing to its robust global footprint.
