The survey examined consumer experiences related to sending and receiving various types of items, including documents, letters, and parcels. It revealed that parcel delivery stood out as the most satisfactory service, with an impressive NPS score of 39.
Parcel delivery: High Satisfaction Ratings for Parcel Services
Among the survey respondents, 81 per cent reported having received parcels within the last year, while 82 per cent indicated they had received documents or letters. ACS emerged as the leading provider, handling 73 per cent of parcel deliveries, followed closely by Cyprus Post at 32 per cent and Akis Express at 25 per cent.

Challenges Faced by Consumers
Despite the high satisfaction ratings, delivery delays emerged as a significant concern. A notable 61 per cent of respondents cited delays as their primary reason for not recommending a provider for document or letter deliveries. Similarly, 66 per cent of those who received parcels reported delays as their main complaint.
Delivery errors were also a common issue, affecting 16 per cent of document recipients and 10 per cent of those sending parcels. Complaints regarding damaged items were less frequent but still relevant, with 6 per cent of parcel senders reporting such issues.
Sending Documents and Letters
The survey revealed that only 18 per cent of respondents had sent documents or letters in the past year. Among those, 75 per cent utilised Cyprus Post, while ACS and Akis Express accounted for 23 per cent and 8 per cent, respectively. Again, delivery delays were the most frequently mentioned issue, with 40 per cent of those who would not recommend a provider citing this as their reason.
Comparative Performance of Delivery Methods
When comparing the various services, parcel collection received the highest customer satisfaction score, significantly outpacing the ratings for sending and receiving documents or letters. The NPS scores highlighted the varying experiences among consumers, with parcel sending and receiving scoring 37 and 33, respectively. The lowest satisfaction rate was for sending documents and letters, which recorded an NPS score of 32.

As consumer expectations continue to evolve, postal services must address the prevalent issues of delivery delays and errors to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
