Paphos has announced a series of engaging Christmas events across its neighbourhoods, including a special ‘Love Bus’ offering free rides to residents. This festive initiative aims to bring joy and community spirit to the city in the lead-up to Christmas and into the New Year.
Exciting Line-up of Christmas Events
From December 20 through to the New Year, Paphos will host a variety of events designed to entertain and connect residents. The municipality’s programme includes music and dance performances, film screenings, and public gatherings, all themed around the spirit of the holiday season.
Film Screening of Love Actually
On Saturday, December 20, residents can enjoy an outdoor screening of the beloved film Love Actually. The event is set to take place at the Atticus Summer Garden at 8pm, with free admission for all attendees. Family-Friendly Christmas Celebration
The following day, Sunday, December 21, Mouttalos Square will transform into a hub of festive activities from 11am to 1.30pm. This Christmas celebration will feature theatre performances, dance showcases, and activities tailored for children.
- The Paphos municipality children’s choir will perform festive songs.
- Dance presentations will be showcased by the “Sacred Gardens” cultural group and the “Pazaros” dance school.

In addition to the performances, children over the age of six can engage in robotic model building workshops hosted by the Young Engineers Paphos group. There will also be opportunities for face painting and a Secret Santa activity, where children will receive surprise festive bags, adding to the excitement of the day.

Christmas Concert at Markideio Theatre
Later that evening, at 7pm, a Christmas concert will take place at the Markideio municipal theatre. Conservatory students will present a festive programme under the guidance of their teachers, with the participation of the Pasydy choir.
