The incident occurred around 12.30 am as the teenager was driving along Kantaras Avenue in Kaimakli. Upon approaching the roundabout at Agios Ilarionas Avenue, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
Tragically, the car overturned and struck a metal fence before coming to a halt. Emergency services swiftly responded, transporting the driver and four of the passengers to Nicosia General Hospital for treatment.
Among the passengers, a 15-year-old boy was transferred to Makarios Hospital, where he remained under observation for precautionary reasons. The other four individuals, including the driver, were examined and subsequently discharged.
