A Park for All Sizes
Situated on the border between the Latsia-Geri municipality and the South Nicosia-Idalion municipality, the park is designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes. It features two distinct areas: one for dogs weighing under 10kg and another for those over 10kg. This thoughtful division ensures that all dogs can play safely and enjoyably.
Facilities and Amenities
The park is open to the public from 7 am until evening, offering ample time for both pets and owners to enjoy the space. In addition to the separate play areas, the park is equipped with play equipment, rubbish bins, and waste bags to promote cleanliness. A temporary parking area with space for up to 50 cars is also available, making access to the park convenient for visitors.
Plans for Expansion
Looking ahead, Mayor Pittaras mentioned that the municipality is progressing with plans to establish a similar dog park in the Geri municipal district. This initiative signifies the ongoing efforts to foster community engagement and provide safe recreational spaces for pets and their owners.
