The fire was brought under control within half an hour, at 13:50, after consuming two donums of dry grass and rubbish. This swift response helped prevent further spread and potential damage to the surrounding area.

The firefighting operation involved a coordinated effort from six personnel from the Department of Forests and five members of the Fire Service. They deployed four vehicles to the scene, demonstrating a rapid response to the emergency. Additionally, two volunteers assisted with a smaller vehicle, contributing to the effective management of the situation.
