Nature days: Workshops and Events to Explore
Cyherbia is committed to connecting people with nature through a variety of engaging workshops and events throughout January and February. This includes the highly anticipated Personalised Tea Blending Workshop scheduled for this Sunday. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own unique herbal tea blend using an extensive selection of herbs. The cost for this workshop is €15, which covers both the session and entry to the park.
Upcoming Activities
On January 31, visitors can enjoy a Complimentary Tea Tasting from 9am to 4pm, alongside a Soap, Bath Bomb & Candle Workshop. These sessions are designed for drop-in participation, allowing guests to attend the next available slot without the need for advance booking.
Essential Oil Distillation and More
As February arrives, the activities continue with a Rosemary Essential Oil Distillation workshop on February 1. This session will demonstrate the process of distilling rosemary essential oil, coupled with ongoing opportunities for soap, bath bomb, and candle making workshops throughout the day.
Foraging Seminars and Woodland Walks
In addition to the creative workshops, Cyherbia is offering an educational foraging seminar and woodland walk on several dates in February. Led by herbalist and Cyherbia founder Miranda Tringis, these immersive experiences will guide participants in discovering the edible wild greens of Cyprus. Visitors will learn how to identify these plants, their health benefits, and traditional preparation methods.
Event Schedule for Wild Greens
Titled the Wild Greens of Cyprus, this event will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, with sessions for English speakers from 11.30am to 1pm and for Greek speakers from 2pm to 3.30pm. The workshop is priced at €20 and includes a seminar, a free book, tastings made with wild greens, herbal tea, and a Q&A session.
Celebrating Green Monday at Cyherbia
As part of its winter offerings, Cyherbia will host additional activities on February 21 and 22, featuring more tea tastings and a Natural Cosmetics workshop. The month culminates in a special Green Monday celebration on February 23, which will offer traditional games, outdoor activities suitable for all ages, and a vegan buffet.
