- Real Estate Agents Law of 2010 (71(I)/2010)
The examinations will be conducted in Greek and will be closed book, requiring candidates to rely solely on their knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates
To be eligible to sit the exams, candidates must submit an application online to the Cyprus Real Estate Agents Registration Council by September 25, 2025, at 2 p.m. The application process requires a fee of €100. Additionally, applicants must meet specific qualifications set forth in Article 11(1) of the Real Estate Agents Law, including:
- Being a natural person and a citizen of the Republic or another EU member state
- Not being bankrupt or under any legal incapacity
- No criminal convictions for offences involving dishonesty or moral turpitude, unless formally rehabilitated
- Holding a recognised diploma confirming successful completion of at least three years of post-secondary education in relevant subjects
- Having completed at least 12 months of professional practice in Cyprus as a registered assistant real estate agent
Furthermore, individuals who possess a postgraduate degree obtained after at least one academic year of study in relevant subjects are also deemed to meet the academic requirements.
