The incident occurred at approximately 1:00pm when the driver noticed smoke and flames emanating from the car. Acting swiftly, the driver parked the vehicle and exited safely, avoiding any personal injury.

Emergency services were quick to respond, with two fire trucks dispatched from the Larnaca Sub-Inspector Andreas Papadopoulos Fire Station. Firefighters arrived on the scene and worked diligently to extinguish the blaze, bringing it under control by 1:13pm.
