Family members received the coffin at the Church of Divine Wisdom in Strovolos, visibly emotional as they mourned their loss. The coffin, draped in the flag of the Republic of Cyprus, was carried by eight military police and arrived on a gun carriage. Accompanying this solemn procession was the Police Band, performing funeral marches, while a military guard rendered honours.
