Kourion mayor Pantelis Georgiou announced that Civil Defence would remain in the community as a precaution, following coordination with the Interior Ministry. Local authorities, in collaboration with the British Bases, are in the process of developing an evacuation protocol for residents, detailing routes to local schools in Episkopi, Kolossi, Erimi, and Ypsonas.
