The investigation commenced when a 34-year-old man reported his motorcycle missing from the parking area of his residence on June 25. The stolen motorcycle was taken in the afternoon, alongside two electric tools from the same location.
Acting on information received, officers from the Limassol CID located the stolen motorcycle shortly after 1pm on a Thursday in a parking area of an apartment building in the city. Nearby, they also discovered two electric tools matching the description of the stolen items inside a car.
The vehicle was registered to the 22-year-old, who was subsequently identified and questioned. Searches were conducted at both the car and his residence in Limassol. During these searches, police uncovered various other items, including another motorcycle that lacked registration plates and had its identifying features removed.
