SOFTSWISS has made a significant move by appointing Denis Romanovskiy as its first Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, a decision that elevates artificial intelligence to the C-suite level within the company.

In establishing this new role, SOFTSWISS aims to integrate AI as a core component of its business infrastructure. This shift reflects the increasing importance of AI in enhancing enterprise technology, productivity, and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.

Romanovskiy, who previously served as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer at SOFTSWISS for over five years, brings a wealth of experience in scaling technology platforms and engineering capabilities. His background includes pivotal roles at EPAM Systems and Wargaming.Net, where he honed his skills in enterprise software and large-scale technology platforms.

As Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, Romanovskiy will be responsible for defining and executing SOFTSWISS’s AI strategy across the organisation. A key project under his leadership will be the rollout of the SOFTSWISS AI Platform, which is designed to offer a centralised, enterprise-grade infrastructure that securely and efficiently scales AI automation throughout the business.

The SOFTSWISS AI Platform promises to connect AI capabilities with corporate tools and systems, enabling teams to automate extensive workflows, conduct large-scale data analyses, and expedite decision-making processes. Importantly, the platform will maintain strict access control, full auditability, and cost transparency.

Ivan Montik, a representative of SOFTSWISS, emphasised the significance of this new role: “The creation of the Chief AI Officer role is a clear testament to how critical artificial intelligence has become to the future of technology. AI is transforming how products are built, how businesses operate, and how value is created.”

Montik continued, stating that by investing early in a unified AI platform and dedicated leadership, SOFTSWISS is positioning itself as a frontrunner in the evolving landscape of AI, making innovation secure, scalable, and result-oriented.

Romanovskiy expressed enthusiasm about his new challenge, stating, “I am excited to take on this new challenge, as SOFTSWISS moves from experimentation to execution. We’ve seen first-hand the amazing things AI can do.” He further outlined the focus on developing AI into a trusted, governed, and economically efficient capability that yields measurable productivity gains across all business areas.

With the establishment of this role, SOFTSWISS is committed to maintaining consistent standards, clear accountability, and full visibility regarding AI development and usage. The AI Platform will serve as a centralised ecosystem for enterprise AI, effectively replacing fragmented tools and mitigating the risk of unregulated shadow AI usage.

Leadership will gain enhanced insight into AI activities across a global workforce exceeding 2,000 employees. Various business units, including HR, Sales, and Customer Support, will have the autonomy to create AI-powered workflows, promoting a ‘build once, use everywhere’ approach that reduces redundant development and accelerates the adoption of AI solutions.

Romanovskiy will oversee the continuous evolution of the platform and the expansion of AI solutions across all business functions, supporting SOFTSWISS’s ambition to lead in responsible, enterprise-scale AI adoption.
