Witnesses reported that the victim was confronted by a 58-year-old man as he arrived in his car. Following a brief argument, the older man drew a knife and stabbed the younger man in the neck, fleeing the scene almost immediately after. The victim managed to stagger into the kiosk, pleading for help before collapsing in a pool of blood.

The kiosk owner acted quickly, calling emergency services, which rushed the victim to Paphos General Hospital. Medical staff are currently battling to save his life as police cordon off the area to gather evidence.

Assistant Police Director for Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, stated that preliminary investigations suggest the attack arose from a personal dispute between the two men. CCTV footage from cameras outside the kiosk has been collected to assist in the investigation.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect, who remains at large. Police are actively searching for the 58-year-old man involved in this violent incident, continuing to gather witness statements as part of their efforts.
