paphos airport — paphos airport — Lane closures will affect traffic at Paphos International Airport as construction begins on the Phase II terminal expansion project. The road work is set to take place from 3 November to 8 December 2025, with one lane remaining open to ensure ongoing vehicle flow.

Hermes Airports, the operator managing the airport, has announced these temporary traffic arrangements outside the arrivals area. The aim is to facilitate the expansion of the terminal, which is expected to increase its capacity by approximately 30%. This enhancement is designed to significantly improve passenger experience and streamline checks and procedures.

To aid in the transition, special signage will be placed throughout the construction site to redirect traffic effectively. Additionally, airport staff will be on hand during peak hours to manage the flow of vehicles and ensure pedestrian safety.

Hermes Airports has expressed its appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of travellers as they navigate the altered traffic conditions. The expansion project not only aims to accommodate more passengers but also includes extending the southern parallel taxiway, thereby enhancing the airport’s operational flexibility.
