According to officials from the Limassol district engineer’s office, the maintenance will focus on electromechanical installations and will occur daily from 8am to 7pm. The electromechanical services department will oversee these necessary works to ensure the safety and efficiency of the tunnel.
During this period, traffic heading towards Paphos will be completely diverted. Vehicles approaching the tunnel will be rerouted to the opposite carriageway, which will accommodate two-way traffic for the duration of the maintenance.
