The incident took place at approximately 11am on Wednesday, April 29, when Koumoulis lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a collision with a small van driven by a 35-year-old man.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, transporting Koumoulis to the hospital where he was diagnosed with multiple fractures and placed in the intensive care unit. Despite the medical team’s efforts, he did not survive his injuries.
