The low-cost carrier marked this achievement on Thursday during a celebratory event at Larnaca International Airport, which was held in collaboration with Hermes Airports. Among the dignitaries present were Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis and other officials, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport.

During the celebration, Wizz Air rewarded the five passengers on its 10 millionth flight to Cyprus with “Golden Tickets,” signifying the airline’s commitment to customer satisfaction and engagement.

In addition to the new routes, Wizz Air is offering a 10 per cent discount on flights from Cyprus for the period between November and March. This promotional initiative aims to encourage travel during the off-peak season.

The newly announced routes include exciting destinations such as Barcelona, Gyumri, Skopje, Suceava, Timisoara, Tirana, Tuzla, and Venice from Larnaka. From Paphos, passengers can look forward to flights to Yerevan and Warsaw.

Andras Rado, Wizz Air’s Head of Communications, expressed pride in reaching 10 million passengers and highlighted the airline’s ongoing commitment to Cyprus. He stated, “Cyprus is one of the most dynamic hubs in our network, and we remain committed to offering more travellers safe and affordable flight options.”
