The 13th edition of Cyprus’ International Interdisciplinary Literature Festival, SARDAM, is underway, running from Thursday to Sunday in Limassol. This festival invites both local and international authors, poets, and musicians to engage in workshops and performances, with opportunities for the public to showcase their talent at open mic nights.

Entrepreneurship Takes Centre Stage in Nicosia

Simultaneously, the Inspire Festival 2025 kicks off on Thursday, bringing together a diverse group of speakers and entrepreneurs in the heart of Nicosia. Over two days, attendees will enjoy insightful talks and panel discussions while sampling delicious street food and listening to live DJs, creating a dynamic atmosphere that fosters inspiration and innovation.

Cinematic Celebrations and Awards

This week, the 20th Cyprus International Film Festival – Golden Aphrodite has captivated audiences with screenings leading up to a special evening planned for Saturday. The event will feature performances, screenings, and an awards ceremony, honouring remarkable stories and individuals in the film industry.

A Weekend of Cultural Heritage

For those seeking a taste of tradition, the Antama Festival will transform the Nicosia Municipal Gardens this Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can expect a delightful experience filled with Cypriot music, dances, and handicrafts, as musical ensembles perform throughout the day, inviting attendees to join in the celebration.

United in Pride Parades

On Saturday, Nicosia will also host United by Pride, a bicommunal event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Two parades will set off from Eleftheria Square and Kuğulu Park at 6pm, converging at Ledra Palace for a vibrant celebration featuring DJs and live performances.
