The Department of Labour Inspection is set to host an informative seminar on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Taking place at the Poseidonia Hotel in Limassol, this event aims to enhance safety standards related to the use and management of LPG.
Commencing at 09:00 a.m., the seminar will delve into crucial topics including the legislative framework governing LPG, the obligations of operators, and best practices to ensure safety. According to the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), the session is designed to educate participants about the importance of adhering to safety protocols in the workplace.
The seminar is primarily targeted at LPG installation operators and health and safety officers responsible for managing these systems. By equipping attendees with the necessary knowledge, the Department of Labour Inspection hopes to mitigate risks associated with LPG usage.
Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance upon completing the programme, recognising their commitment to improving workplace safety. Interested parties are encouraged to register via the link provided in the ministry’s announcement.
This initiative reflects a broader commitment to enhancing public safety and ensuring that those working with liquefied petroleum gas are well-informed about the standards and practices that govern their operations.
