Arrests in Paphos Linked to Multiple Crimes

Four individuals were apprehended in Paphos, with charges relating to two cases of home invasion and theft, one case of domestic violence, and another involving the illegal appropriation of electricity. These arrests highlight the police’s commitment to tackling serious offences that affect local communities.

Drug-Related Arrests in Nicosia and Larnaca

In addition to the Paphos arrests, three more suspects were taken into custody in Nicosia and Larnaca. These arrests are connected to two cases of drug possession and one case of illegal residence, reflecting ongoing concerns regarding drug-related activities and illegal immigration.

Extensive Vehicle and Premises Inspections

Last night, police conducted thorough inspections as part of their operations, stopping 326 vehicles for checks and verifying the identities of 413 individuals. This extensive scrutiny is part of a broader strategy to enhance public safety.
