During the first two days, the weather conditions were unfavorable, with calm winds allowing only two races to be held. In the first, Kontidis finished 10th and in the second 11th, resulting in him falling behind in the overall standings. However, his good form and the speed of his boat helped him to recover.

The final day and Kontidis’s strategy
On the fourth day, the top sailors gathered at the Golden Fleet, where three more races were held. Kontides recorded two second places but finished 22nd in the third race, a position that could have seemed dangerous in the standings. However, his strategy to manage the race and push the English opponent Elliot Hanson back proved decisive.

Kontidis will continue his preparation with participation in camps and competitions in Lanzarote from December to February. Afterwards, he will move to Palma de Mallorca for the first World Cup of 2026, the 55th Trofeo Princesa Sofia, followed by other major events.
