The Cyprus property sector has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of global challenges, according to Yannis Misirlis, chairman of the Cyprus Property Developers Association. Speaking with Kathimerini, he highlighted the country’s ability to maintain stability and growth prospects despite ongoing international upheaval and uncertainty.

Addressing the pressing issue of housing, Misirlis declared it the “most important social challenge facing Cypriot society”. He pointed out that many young people struggle to acquire their own homes, which severely limits their choices and prospects. The Cyprus Property Developers Association has expressed support for initiatives aimed at enhancing affordable housing.
