Strong Retail Sector Performance Fuels Growth

Additionally, retail sales volume experienced a notable rise of 9%.
In particular, specialist stores focusing on food, drink, and tobacco saw the largest monthly sales volume increase at 19.2%. This was followed closely by clothing and footwear, which recorded a 15.8% increase, and household equipment, including electrical appliances, which saw a rise of 10.4%. Supermarket sales volume also increased by 8.7%, indicating a healthy demand across various sectors.
