On Monday, residents can expect periods of increased medium and high cloud, along with isolated and mainly light showers. In some instances, these showers may be accompanied by thunder.
Winds will predominantly blow from the northeast to southeast, and from the southwest to northwest in the western and southwestern parts of the island. These winds are expected to be light to moderate, ranging between 3 and 4 Beaufort.
As the day progresses into late afternoon, winds will shift to generally south-westerly to north-westerly at similar strengths, while the sea remains calm to slightly rough. By Monday evening, increased medium and high cloud will initially persist, but the weather will gradually clear up. Winds will blow mainly from the northwest to northeast, and from the southeast along northern coasts, remaining light at around 3 Beaufort. The sea conditions will continue to vary between calm and slightly rough. Nighttime temperatures are anticipated to drop to around 15°C inland and in the mountains, while coastal areas will see lows of about 18°C.
Midweek Predictions
Looking ahead to Tuesday and Wednesday, most areas are expected to enjoy mainly clear skies, although some local clouds may appear. Isolated showers could occur over the mountains during the afternoon, particularly on Wednesday.
Weather Changes by Thursday
As the week progresses into Thursday, local clouds are forecasted to develop at intervals, potentially leading to occasional isolated showers and even thunderstorms, especially over mountainous areas, the interior, and the east. Temperatures are not expected to significantly change and will remain well above the seasonal average for early November.
