Signing New Agreements in Mumbai

During a visit to Mumbai on September 22, Dusan Duffek, Co-Founder and Board Member of The Doers Company, formalised two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent organisations in the region. The first agreement was established with the India Business Group (IBG), a consortium led by Vikash Mittersain, Founder and President of IBG and Chairman of Nazara Technologies, India’s largest gaming company.

Collaboration with IBG

The MoU with IBG aims to foster collaboration in various sectors including gaming, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. This partnership is expected to unlock opportunities for joint ventures focusing on startup incubation, research and development, and cross-border investment. Through these initiatives, The Doers Company seeks to build stronger international connections within the technology landscape.

Engagement with IIT Bombay’s Entrepreneurship Cell

The second agreement was signed with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, which is renowned as Asia’s largest student-led entrepreneurship organisation and part of one of India’s most prestigious technology universities.

Supporting the E-Cell Initiatives

This collaboration will see The Doers Company contribute to several initiatives, including the Eureka! accelerator programme and the university’s flagship entrepreneurship event, the E-Summit. These initiatives are designed to provide startups, founders, and innovators with enhanced opportunities to engage with a global ecosystem, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.

High-Level Meetings and Future Engagements

The MoUs were signed in the presence of Demetris Skourides, Chief Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus for Research, Innovation and Technology. Skourides participated in high-level meetings with major technology companies and investment funds in Mumbai, solidifying the importance of these collaborations in the broader context of international innovation.

Networking and Future Summits

During his visit, Duffek also reinforced The Doers Company’s expanding network, with several leaders and organisations confirming their participation in upcoming Doers Summits scheduled to take place in Dubai and across Europe in 2026. This growing network aims to connect founders, innovators, investors, and operators from around the world.

A Commitment to Global Community

Dusan Duffek expressed that these partnerships are not merely formal agreements but serve as vital connections between some of the most dynamic startup ecosystems globally. He stated, “We are committed to building a truly global community for founders, investors, and operators who are shaping the future.”

Creating Impact through Collaboration

The Doers Company is dedicated to connecting innovators worldwide through a robust ecosystem of events, partnerships, and community programmes. Its flagship event, the Doers Summit, aims to transform ideas into tangible results while fostering long-term relationships that create significant impact.

Looking Ahead: Opportunities for Innovation

As The Doers Company continues to solidify its presence in Asia, the partnerships formed in India are expected to catalyse further innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. By collaborating with established organisations like IBG and IIT Bombay’s E-Cell, The Doers Company is positioning itself at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Encouraging Future Initiatives

These strategic alliances not only enhance The Doers Company’s capabilities but also contribute to the broader goal of nurturing a thriving innovation ecosystem in India. As startups and innovators seek out new avenues for growth, the support from such partnerships will be crucial in navigating the challenges of the modern business environment.
