School supplies have been donated to Greek Cypriot and Maronite children who attend schools in the north, according to the Pancyprian volunteerism coordinating council. This initiative is part of the council’s “All children with school supplies” campaign, aimed at supporting underprivileged students.

The supplies were delivered to the children by a delegation from the council, along with a representative from the Hellenic Bank. This collaborative effort marks a significant contribution to the educational resources available to these children.

Employees from the Hellenic Bank and Eurobank Cyprus, as well as other affiliated companies, provided the school supplies. Their generosity reflects a strong commitment to improving the educational experience for students in the region.

Elias Demetriou, the chairman of the council, expressed gratitude towards the Eurobank group for their active participation in this initiative. He conveyed his hopes for the children to have a “creative and fruitful school year, full of progress, health, and optimism.” Demetriou also reassured the children that the council will continue to support them in their educational journey.

This donation is not just a gesture; it represents a vital resource for students who may otherwise struggle to acquire necessary supplies. As these children prepare to embark on another academic year, the support from the community highlights the importance of solidarity and cooperation in addressing educational needs.
